After studying engineering in electrotechnics, Thomas makes a bold choice: he leaves the technical world to follow his true passion, cooking. Graduating in culinary sciences and hotel and restaurant management, he begins an international career as a chef, gaining experiences across the globe.
With this dual expertise – technical and culinary – he combines rigor, quality demands, and environmental sensitivity. Coming from a family specialized in combustion for three generations, Thomas grows up in contact with fire, energy, and thermal performance. It is in Asia and Australia that he discovers the potential of bamboo and coconut-based charcoal: a clean, stable alternative to traditional charcoal, toxic and polluting.
From this convergence of family heritage, international experience, and ecological awareness, ECOMBUST is born, an innovative solution to transform plant waste into sustainable energy.
