For a long time I believed that engineering and cooking were two opposite worlds. But through my travels, my nomadic kitchens and some defining encounters, I realised they could come together around one and the same energy: fire.
When I discovered bamboo and coconut biochar in a remote village, it became obvious: it was possible to combine performance, tradition and respect for nature.
With Ecombust, I didn't just want to create a product. I wanted to offer an alternative. Something simple, but essential. A new way to cook, to keep warm, to gather, without harming what surrounds us.
This project was born from a passion, but above all from a deep conviction: that every action counts, and that the most powerful innovation is often the one that respects the earth the most.
